Marine Technician

Job Description

Ventnor Marina located in Pasadena, MD is seeking a qualified Marine Technician for full time employment.  Qualifications should include the following:

1. Ability to install new Yamaha Outboard Motors ranging from 50hp to 300hp.  Engine repowers include new gauges, throttles/binnacles, shift and throttle cables, and key switches.  Training available
2. General outboard maintenance including but not limited to: oil changes, lower unit gear oil changes, spark plugs changes, water pump replacement, anode replacement, T-stat replacement, lower unit seal repair, and fuel system repair and winterizations.  Training is available
3. Inboard/Outboard general service including but not limited to: engine oil changes, gear oil changes, spark plug changes, tune ups, outdrive diagnosis and repair, winterizations.  Training is available.
4. Yard services including hauling and launching vessels with a Marine Travel Lift.

The potential candidate should apply if only experienced with one of categorical items, i.e. Outboard Maintenance/diagnosis and repair or Inboard/Outboard maintenance, or diagnosis and repair.
