Excavator/Operator for Marine Construction

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Excavator/Operator for Marine Construction (specifically pile driving using an excavator using vibratory plate) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating and maintaining pile driving equipment and a proven track record of successful project execution.

THIS IS NOT A DRIVER POSITION FOR CARS/TRUCKS.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate pile driving machinery to drive piles into the ground for foundation support.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements.
• Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and perform routine inspections.
• Collaborate with project managers and construction teams to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met.
• Follow all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with pile driving equipment and processes as they arise.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a pile driver or in a similar construction role.
• Strong knowledge of pile driving techniques and equipment.
• Ability to read and understand construction plans and specifications.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Valid driver’s license and relevant certifications preferred.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
