Work Responsibilities

Yard work is a great entry level position in the marine industry and a perfect way to learn the yearly cycle of marine work. This position includes bottom painting and detailing in the Spring and shrink wrapping in the Fall, as well as various maintenance tasks.

On the Job Training

The Marine Trades Industry Partnership is a paid, on-the-job training program for young workers starting their career. The ideal candidate is 18 to 24 with a strong desire to succeed and work around boats and water. Candidates will gain confidence from learning their trade, security from knowing their skill cannot be outsourced, and motivation from excellent pay and upward mobility.
