Work Responsibilities

As a Service Manager, you’ll need a good working knowledge of marine systems, engines, and electronics. You’ll get to manage a diverse set of service professionals like Service Techs, Riggers, and Detailers as well as day-to-day boat yard operations.

On the Job Training

The Marine Trades Industry Partnership is a paid, on-the-job training program for young workers starting their career. The ideal candidate is 18 to 24 with a strong desire to succeed and work around boats and water. Candidates will gain confidence from learning their trade, security from knowing their skill cannot be outsourced, and motivation from excellent pay and upward mobility.
