Work Responsibilities

As an Equipment Operator, you are certified for using the fork lift and travel lift and will spend time moving boats in and out of the water and around the boat yard. You may also work with bobcats, hydraulic trailers, and even cranes.

On the Job Training

The Marine Trades Industry Partnership is a paid, on-the-job training program for young workers starting their career. The ideal candidate is 18 to 24 with a strong desire to succeed and work around boats and water. Candidates will gain confidence from learning their trade, security from knowing their skill cannot be outsourced, and motivation from excellent pay and upward mobility.
