Work Responsibilities

As a Dockmaster, you’ll oversee the day to day management of the marina to ensure a high level of customer service and appearance for the facility and its staff. Other duties may include, accounting, staffing, reporting, leasing, legal compliance, marketing, and emergency preparedness and response.

On the Job Training

The Marine Trades Industry Partnership is a paid, on-the-job training program for young workers starting their career. The ideal candidate is 18 to 24 with a strong desire to succeed and work around boats and water. Candidates will gain confidence from learning their trade, security from knowing their skill cannot be outsourced, and motivation from excellent pay and upward mobility.
