Work Responsibilities

Canvas Technicians create custom cushions and upholstery with a variety of quality fabrics and foam. You’ll design, pattern, fabricate and install customized projects for dodgers, biminis, enclosures, sail covers and other material needs on a boat.

On the Job Training

The Marine Trades Industry Partnership is a paid, on-the-job training program for young workers starting their career. The ideal candidate is 18 to 24 with a strong desire to succeed and work around boats and water. Candidates will gain confidence from learning their trade, security from knowing their skill cannot be outsourced, and motivation from excellent pay and upward mobility.
