Job Description
CBMM seeks a part-time Marine Mechanic with 5+ years’ experience in diagnosing and repairing diesel, gas, hydraulic equipment, and possess basic understanding of marine electrical systems. The Ideal candidate owns necessary tools and has experience with marine engines. American Boat & Yacht Council (ABYC) certification and outboard engine experience is a plus. Ability to deal with the public in a positive and enthusiastic manner. Willingness to participate in community affairs. A background in teaching mechanics is desirable.
You will be working with CBMM’s collection of historic Chesapeake Bay watercraft on our beautiful campus all set in a park-like waterfront setting along the Miles River and St. Michaels’ harbor.
